Hygienic towels could mean good health
Towels are among the most heavily used items of personal hygiene, coming in close physical
contact with people more than anything else. As towels are used for hygienic and cleanliness
purposes per se, they need more frequent cleaning than bedsheets and other linen.
The sweat, oil, and skin cells from your body that are transferred to your towels as you use
them; this attracts filth and dust mites which are the main causes of bacterial buildup. When
used by patients, such unhygienic towels can become more problematic.
